David Carson for HUCK Magazine

Back in the fall I got the opportunity to photograph David Carson, a professional surfer turned graphic designer who popularized experimental typography in the 90s.  As the art director for Ray Gun, his layouts often featured splintered photographs with a splattering of vernacular typologies.  To find out more about Carson check out the article in HUCK Magazine or watch his TED talk on design.
